International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS – 2008), a very prestigious mega event, being held in Karachi is a great honour for Government and the City of Karachi to host the largest defence exhibition.

We have made our contribution and ensured that delegates coming for IDEEA – 2008  have a pleasant stay thereby sending a message to the world that Karachi is a safe and prosperous city. On behalf of Sindh and citizen of Karachi I warmly welcome them for an enjoyable stay.

I compliment the Federal Government; of Pakistan and the Pakistan Armed forces for continuing their efforts in further enhancing our defence industry’s export potential while highlighting our manufacturing capabilities.

I would also like to compliment the organizer Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) and the event manager Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, for their hard work in making this exhibition a success and giving Pakistan a leading role in the region.
