It is a matter of immense pride for Pakistan to host the 5th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2008).

IDEAS from its inception has provided the local industry the long awaited break, opening up export markets across the globe within a span of few years by promoting Pakistan as a major stake holder in production and sale of affordable, indigenous and collaborated, defence equipment and allied systems in the region.

In the end, I wish to thank Defence Export Promotion Organization and the event manager Ecommerce Gateway (Pvt.) Ltd. for bringing the event together. I would also like to wish the local and international participants of IDEAS 2008 the very best at the exhibition and pleasant stay in Pakistan.
